Project Objectives :
  1. To raise students’ awareness and equip students with positive attitude and coping skills on anxiety problem in order to reduce the negative effect of anxiety. To enhance resilience through psychological interventions and support for students with anxiety by using the Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) combined with Expressive Arts Therapy (EAT) as means of intervention.
  2. To build the capacities of parents, teachers and practitioners on the use of ACT with arts in early anxiety identification and intervention.
  3. To empower primary caregivers to parent more effectively and strengthen family support by promoting self-care and mental wellness among parents.mental health and harmonious family.
  4. To provide psychological support to students with anxiety problem through mentorship scheme.
Project Contents:
  1. Student Mental Health Counseling Service
    • Individual counseling (Using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy / Expressive Arts Therapy)
    • Group counseling (Using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy / Expressive Arts Therapy)
    • Mental Health Assessment and recommendations
    • Referral to professional services of Psychiatrists and Clinical Psychologist
