Content
-This workshop aims at providing a general overview of four main categories of mental disorders in the DSM-5, namely: (1) Anxiety Disorders, (2) Obsessive Compulsive Disorders, (3) Trauma-and-Stressor-related Disorders, and (4) Personality Disorders. The subcategories of each of the above disorders and its corresponding diagnostic criteria will be discussed.
Day 1: DSM-5 Anxiety, Obsessive Compulsive, and Trauma- and Stressor-related Disorders
Day 2: DSM-5 Personality Disorders


Format
-This is an intensive workshop in the format of lecture and case discussion. Prior knowledge of the DSM 5 is preferred but not required. Participants are welcomed to submit their cases in a 1-page written summary with all clients’ personal identification information removed for in-class discussion. Cases contents will be modified by the instructor to ensure confidentiality and anonymity. The case summary can be submitted to patsy_chan@cfsc.org.hk two weeks before the training (i.e. 9/3/2018).
