Second Workshop on Overview of Child and Adolescent Mental Disorders in the DSM 5
Content
-In the DSM 5, mental disorders usually diagnosed in infancy, childhood and adolescence are classified under different diagnostic categories, including: Neurodevelopmental disorders; Depressive disorders; Anxiety disorders; Trauma- and Stressor-Related Disorders; Feeding and Eating Disorders; Elimination Disorders; and Disruptive, Impulse-Control, and Conduct Disorders.
-This workshop aims at providing a general overview of the mental disorders usually diagnosed in children and adolescents and the corresponding diagnostic criteria. Special attention will be placed on clinical cases in the Chinese context.
Format
-This is an intensive workshop in the format of lecture and case discussion.
*Prior knowledge of the DSM 5 is preferred (but not required)
