Requirements:

  • Either have a University Degree in Health, Psychology, Social Science or relevant disciplines; English Language (Syllabus B, if applicable) and Chinese Language at Grade E or above in HKCEE/Level 2 in HKDSE;  

  • 3 years work experience in client-contact in a community-setting preferable;

  • Excellent listening, questioning and ‘people’ skills and possess strong ability to inspire, motivate, and empower diversified clients in health-related goal-achievement;

  • Competency in maintaining open communication with all stakeholders and conflict management; creativity in problem solving and demonstrate a positive response to changes;

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, dynamic, independent and collaborative;

  • Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese.

Job Duties:

  • To join professional training by School of Public Health, HKU;

  • To lead the Service team, coordinate and monitor the implementation of the Project in accordance with the protocol and evidence-based guidelines set out by the School of Public Health, HKU and ensure timely completion of activities of the Programme;

  • Conduct activities and/or programs to recruit and enroll 1500 smokers per year through community promotion education activities for a Lung Cancer Screening Programme;

  • Deliver health education to the public to promote health literacy;

  • Co-work with clients and the team in progress and outcome documentation and evaluation;

  • Assist in office administration and financial management.

  • Perform any other duties assigned by supervisor(s) from time to time.

Working Hours: 22 hours net per week

Working Location: Kwun Tong
