Emergency Assistance to Elders/Support Service for Elderly Carers

Target Group and Service Needs

For frail elderly individuals with care needs and their caregivers (including elderly couples living together), when urgent support and assistance are needed, we offer the following services: short-term home respite, medical escorting, errand assistance, counseling and emotional support.

In addition, we provide carer-based support services for the elderly carers. We organise online platforms, case studies, activities and trainings on physical and mental health, thereby offering emotional support and assistance to the elderly carers, which help them to relieve stress.

If you suspect an elderly (aged 60 or above) has mild cognitive impairment or early-stage dementia, do not hesitate—get test and intervene early. Early intervention can slow down cognitive decline and help maintain their quality of life. For details, please inquire about the following schemes.
