LIFES link - A network of service handling the dual ageing issues of mentally disabled persons and their caregivers

The project provides networking and community support service for caregiver of people with disabilities in responding to the dual aging issues and promoting the sustainability of the caregiving practices in the community by the means of:

• Learning: enhancing the competence of caregivers;
• Involvement: rebuilding their supportive network;
• Fulfillment: promoting healthy aging and meet their developmental needs;
• Energy:improving the physical and mental health of caregivers; and
• Self-determination: enhancing the sense of control of caregivers.
